In New Zealand, most residential homes have access to good quality internet with fast speeds and large or non-existent data capacity. This is not necessarily the case for rural centers or overseas locations. Because of this, we recommend that you consider how large your files are before sending these to participants, and resize these files if appropriate. Zoom then processes the recording, converts that footage to a file called an MP4, and then stores it either on your computer or on the Cloud depending on which option you chose when you started recording.

Recording folders are named for the date and time of recording, the meeting number, and the meeting name. To view a recording in the Cloud: Log into the Zoom web portal. Click Recordings on the left-hand menu. Your Cloud recordings will be listed in the Cloud Recordings tab.

If the recording isn’t finished processing, Processing Recording will be listed to the right of its name. Click the meeting name.

Technically challenged here I just taped a 40 minute zoom call that I’d like to email but it’s saying the recording is too big to send.

I don’t have Dropbox or Google Drive which the error message is saying I should use to send it and I don’t really want to pay for those services. Is there another way? I recorded it to my computer- should I have recorded in on the Zoom Cloud? Google Drive and Dropbox both have free options. Zoom Community.
